デザイナーKaari MengによるUSAコットンブランド FRENCH GENERALの生地を使用した商品です。
RURAL JARDIN （ルーラルジャルダン）
今回使用したトワルドジュイの生地は、同じ柄のリピート配置ではなく、全体でひとつの絵のように構成された大柄のデザインです。
そのため、通常のように重ねて裁断してしまうと、入り組んだ部分とシンプルな部分、余白の分量が極端に分かれてしまい、デザインのバランスが崩れてしまいます。
そこで、コルセットの小さな身頃に対して、柄の雰囲気や余白、柄の密度のバランスを丁寧に見極めながら配置を行い、左右で全体の印象が整うよう意識しました。
そのため、あえて左右対称の柄配置にはしておらず、あくまで自然で調和の取れた見え方を大切にしています。
主張が強すぎない、植物や動物といった自然を感じさせるニュアンス柄を選び、上品で落ち着いた印象に。大人の女性が身に着けたときに美しく映えるよう、色使いや柄選びにもこだわりました。
